ICMPC10フォーラム用原稿書いた/【やや重要】要約アップロード

今日も雨ですね。なんか、今夜から朝にかけて、降水量200ミリとかニュースでやってたんですが、
教えて！goo：1mm/hの降水量についてのいちばん上の回答みたら、

６　１時間に５０ミリ、３時間に１００ミリ、２４時間に２００ミリを超えるときは災害の起こる目安

って書いてました。皆さん、気をつけてください。
かく言う渡辺は、雨戸があるわけでもないから対策しようがないし、一応アパートの2階にすんでるからまあ大丈夫かなー　程度の認識でいます。「雨　対策」とかで検索してもイマイチ何していいか良くわかんないし、まあ川に近づかないようにはしておきます。
ただ、駐車場が若干川に近いので、それだけがちょっと心配。
本当は、安全な場所に（大雨になるまえに）移す、とかするべきなのかもしれないんですが、うーん、そこまでしようとは思えないなー

で、フォーラム(ちなみにICMPC10における市民交流企画(pdf注意）のことです）用原稿をあげて、今共著者（ボス）にチェックしてもらってるとこなんですが、
久々に自分のページにログインしたので、登録してあるアブストラクトを一応「つづきはこちら」に挙げておきます。

見学のときの学生バイトやる人は、一応みといてください…といっても、渡辺は日本人なので、札幌市民に対してはぜんぜん日本語で話すけどね！

Background

The autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a pervasive neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impairments in social interaction, communication, and by restricted repetitive patterns of behavior. It is thought that the weak central coherence (WCC) influences these features which are appeared as local bias in ASD. It is said that typically developed individuals (TD) have global precedence. However, it is thought that someone may have global bias and others local bias in TD. Autism-spectrum quotient (AQ) is designed to investigate extent of ASD traits in individuals. We used AQ measure to investigate whether the performances vary according to their AQ scores in hierarchical melody discrimination task.

Aims

An aim of this study is to investigate about the differences in recognition of contour in melody between high AQ (local precedence) group and low AQ (global precedence) group.

Method

Participants: typically developed 19 males and 5 females participated in this study. They were classified as High AQ group and Low AQ group by AQ score. Stimulus: Nine tones (200ms duration) were grouped sequentially to form a melody (1800ms duration). These tones were arranged to form rising-falling or falling-rising contour of the melody. Condition: All tasks consisted of same-different judgments of pairs of melodies. Participants decided the judgment according to a cue. There were 4 kinds of conditions, global and local cue condition, global cue condition, local cue condition, and no cue condition. Procedure: Subjects were required to press right (or left) button when the one melody of the pair was the same as another, and to press left (or right) button when the one was different from another.

Results

Performance of low AQ group was improved in global cue condition regardless of local cue. Performance in high AQ group decreased significantly in global cue condition without local cue. There was no difference in the condition without global cue in both groups.

Conclusions

It was suggested that attention was directed to global cue, not to local cue in low AQ group. On the other hand, local cue was important to recognize global cue for high AQ group. Therefore, it was suggested that the high AQ group needed more local information than low AQ group.Thus, it is suggested that the individuals with high AQ can not understood global aspect in the melody sufficiently.


やっぱカンファレンスペーパー（フルペーパー）だせば良かったかなー　とか思って軽く後悔してたんですが、改めてこの文（だいたい400 words)を読み返し、これを書き上げるのに1ヶ月かかったことを思い出して、4000 wordsは無理だったなと思いました。英語書けるようになりたいなー　いや、なりたいなー　とかのんきに言ってる場合じゃないんですが…！！
